Minemax will be showcasing its new integrated scheduling and haulage technology at two upcoming mining events in North America. Minemax Haulage will first be available as part of Tempo for detailed mine planning. After its debut in Tempo, there are plans to integrate Minemax Haulage into other Minemax planning and scheduling products.
Demos will be given at Booth 1520 at SME 2019 in Denver (February 24-27), and at PDAC 2019 at Booth 7111N in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (March 3-6).
“Customers require integrated haulage to get accurate plans that respect the capacity of their truck fleet,” explains Richard Diaz, Product Manager for Haulage. Incorporating haulage as an integral part of the detailed schedule means that the result will be both practical and efficient. It will also save mine planning engineers time by not having to address truck capacity as an add-on to the schedule.
Tempo with integrated haulage is now able to generate cycle times based on a few simple inputs such as haulage strings and speed parameters, resulting in a more efficient and versatile workflow without having to use additional software for cycle time calculations. If the haulage designs change, it is quick and easy to update cycle times and the resulting schedule.
Minemax engineers will also be demonstrating the latest releases of Minemax Planner for rapid pit optimization, Minemax Scheduler for integrated strategic mine planning and iGantt for open-pit and underground production scheduling.
